Hiphop Instrumentals Verification
I recently started working on an album with a very talented hip hop artist. As an under ground sound, we are looking to break the ice and tap into main stream. I have to find beats for our tracks and I have come across a number hiphop instrumentals websites but I don’t know how to tell whether or not I am legally purchasing these sounds. It’s not that big of an issue when we aren’t capitalizing off the sounds but as soon as we start selling records I want to be sure that I have the license or copyright to the music. How can I verify this?
