Perhaps you missed the news, as I … But the web has just passed a mammoth milestone. “There are now 100 million Web sites with domain names and content on them,” according to Rich Miller of Net craft, the Internet monitoring company. Net craft uses the domain name system to identify the sites, check how many of them are in a certain place, which is the operating system and software to the Web server they are working, and then publish the information in the monthly report and get loans to stop foreclosure. There were only 18,000 Web sites when Net craft, started tracking in August 1995. It took until May 2004 to reach 50 million milestones, then only 30 more months to Hit 100 million at the end of the month in October 2006.
