The Party Wall Act Dictated Where The Fence Had To Go
We live in a very friendly neighborhood and our children have all been raised with the run of the neighborhood. The read yards were more of a community garden than a private garden. When new neighbors moved in and wanted to build a fence around their property they proposed that we all share equally in their cutting the neighborhood up. The Party Wall Act gave us the answer. Each of us declined their offer to help build their fence and at the same time we requested that the fence no be constructed on any of our property. They built it at their expense on their land.
