Acai Berry Weight Loss, a Fad Diet?

There is only one way to lose weight and to keep that weight off: change your lifestyle. Fad diets such as the acai berry weight loss diet that some people think is a fad help you to lose weight and they are rewarding because you see changes in your scale almost on a daily basis.

The problem with most fad diets is that once you get the weight off, you have no way to maintain the weight loss. You can’t stay on the diet and once you go back to eating regular food, you return to your old eating habits. In fact, if your fad diet involved giving up a certain kind of food, you might even binge on that food. The weight can go back on almost as fast as it left and you are right back where your started–or even heavier.

A good lifestyle means developing a better relationship with food and not using food as a substitute for some other psychological need. It also involves making a choice to exercise every day.
