Are Smokeless Cigarettes a Stop Smoking Product?
If you carefully read the instruction manual for a smokeless, or, electronic cigarette, it clearly states that it is not meant as a Stop Smoking Product. However, that is not stopping some people from using the product as such. An electronic cigarette cannot technically be a stop smoking aid because you get the exact same amount of nicotine from every cartridge. By contrast, if you use the patch or nicotine gum, there are different levels of nicotine you can get until you are eventually weaned off of it altogether. Still, when some people trade traditional cigarettes for electronic cigarettes, they are giving up smoke, tar – everything but nicotine – so they may still see it as a step in the right direction.
