Herniated disc treatment is needed 13 million times a year in the US
Some rather sobering statistics to hand, here. Around 80 percent of the entire population of the US will have a disabling back pain at some time. That’s a lot of people. If you work it out on a per year basis, that’s around 13 million people every year will have an episode of disable ling back pain. (What sort of drain on national health resources is that, I find myself wondering. No wonder the politicians are slow to move to some sort of universal health funding for all.)But did you also notice the word ‘disabling’? Serious back pain. Pain you have to do something about. Pain that interrupts your life. Indeed, pain that takes over your life for a time. Pain that gets your attention. As I said, sobering statistics. But the good news is that this is just one-episode stuff. Acute herniated discs, but not necessarily chronic. And because effective herniated disc treatment can often be low-level, simple routines many of these sufferers will regain their healthy back without great costs. I know. I’m one of them.
