Hubscher manoeuvre
Hubscher manoeuvre sounds like some sort of dramatic life saving technique but in reality, it is a simple clinical test that is used by podiatrists which involves lifting up the big toe to see if the arch of the foot comes up as well. In normal situations, the arch does come up and you can recognize if there is an abnormality if it does not come up. The test is called the Hubscher manoeuvre and it is only called in the USA- the rest of the world knows it as Jacks test. It is not that clear if the test has meaningful results as it is a test done standing and it is supposed to predict how we walk.
