There are two key elements to a good gastritis diet for those suffering from this disease; foods which are mild in flavor and foods that are easy to digest. Generally avoid spicy foods, especially anything in the pepper family. Some sufferers have had problems with citrus fruits, onions and garlic also. Focus your diet on high fiber foods and dairy products which can be digested the most easily. Always pay attention to how you feel after you have eaten, so that you can adjust your diet.
