Rebar Punctures Construction Worker’s Lung

My neighbor is a carpenter for a large construction company in the city.  He has been in this line of work for 15 years and was very careful and experienced.  I went to visit him in the hospital yesterday after the accident on the job site two days ago.  At the hospital he was meeting with his pennsylvania construction injuries attorney and told him that the rebar did not have rebar cap on it for safety.  When he tripped and fell, the rebar punctured through the skin and his lung.  The construction company had already been fined for the same safety violation earlier in the year.
