At The Old Ball Game
The boys and I made it to our first game of the season down at Busch over the weekend. I’d gotten tickets last week, and then the van broke down so we were doubtful we’d even be able to go. Finally used a Budget rental coupon and got a car for the day pretty cheap.
We ended up parking on the Illinois side of the river and taking the train over. There’s a stop right across from the ballpark so it made it pretty convenient. Might try that again next time.
The Cards didn’t get the win that day, but there’s just something about being at the ballpark and enjoying a dog and a beer (even though they cost an arm and a leg). Hoping to make it back down there again before the season’s over.
