Learning to be consistent in our communications with our dogs is one of the biggest challenges in home dog training. Consistent communication is important in dealing with all dogs, but none more so than your brand new puppy. Puppy obedience training can be done at home; in fact, that’s probably the best place for it. You should see some results in a few days, but you can expect the entire program to take a few months. Even while you are waiting to bring your new puppy home, though, you can use the time to begin teaching yourself to communicate consistently with animals.
