Snow Skiing
The history of snow skiing is a fascinating one, going back over 5000 years. There have been reports of cave paintings found in Norway that depict men on skis. Snow skiing in modern times however very much focus on it as a sport. If you have a keen skiier you will know that it can be a very competitive sport, especially over the winter months. Most people however ski for the pleasure of being outdoors in the open and the friendships one develops with other skiiers. If you have never skiied before, it is never too late to start.
