Checking out the owl Species of Southern Africa
I am an avid owl devotee and absolutely adore these timid, mysterious and quiet creatures. I have been fortunate enough to witness at least 9 of the owl species which can be found in Southern Africa, but I desperately want to sight the elusive Pel’s fishing owl, which is the only fish hunting owl to be found in Southern Africa. With car rental south africa I plan to drive to the Kruger National Park and find a good spot along the river bed, to set up my camera equipment and sit out the wait. I have fortunate to have loads of patience and am able to keep myself busy with sighting other marvelous creatures on this mission.
